Online Exchange, Replacement and Return FAQ:

Extended Returns Policy: To better serve our customers, we have extended our return policy for the holiday season. Purchases made between October 14, 2018 and December 25, 2018 may be returned through January 23, 2019. Our standard return policy will apply to all purchases made beginning December 26, 2018.

    Standard Policy: If you live within the contiguous 48 U.S., items can be returned, exchanged or replaced in original condition within 40 days of your order date when purchased online (including items shipped to a store) or 30 days if purchased in store. Learn more about our return policy here.

  • Yes. We accept returns from SierraTradingPost.com online or at any of our Sierra Trading Post retail locations.

    • ? With a register receipt or shipping confirmation email you will receive a cash refund or charge credit.
    • ? With a gift receipt you will receive a merchandise credit.
    • ? Without a receipt will receive a merchandise credit. A valid government issued photo ID, name, address, and signature are required for all non-receipted returns and may be required for use of the resulting merchandise credit. Any name printed on the merchandise credit must match the name on the photo ID presented or the merchandise credit may not be used.

  • If the item meets our return policy timeframe and conditions for return and we receive the items within 10 calendar days, you have 60 days to use your credit on a replacement product or even shop all new items.

  • The shipping label you print in this process or the label provided in the original box allows us to track the package in route and expedite the return process.

    If we have not received the item you are exchanging within 10 days of processing your return for exchange or replacement online, a charge will incur for any amount of the credit applied to a new order.

    Any items returned that do not meet our return policy timeframe and conditions will be returned at customer’s expense and billed for any items exchanged using the Instant Store Credit.

  • If you have used the sum of your Instant Store Credit and the returned items met our return policy timeframe and conditions, this is a successful exchange and nothing more will happen.

    If you have used partial or none of the credit and have returned the product, any unused balance will refund to your original method of payment. Items purchased using third party payment methods like PayPal and PayPal Credit may be reimbursed via physical quad brand gift card.

  • When we've received your returned item within the 10-day timeframe, your original payment method will be credited minus a return shipping fee of $6.95 (48 contiguous U.S. only). You may do this with any credit you have on your account at any time by pressing Process My Refund. Original shipping cost will not be refunded.

  • At this time, anyone outside of the contiguous 48 states, APO/FPO and all U.S. possessions and territories are excluded from the online Instant Store Credit program. To make a return or exchange, outside the U.S. please use the Traditional Method to make a return/exchange. A $10.95 return shipping charge will apply for AK, HI when using our prepaid UPS return shipping label.
